At the World Day of Victims visitors were welcomed in Kaposvár Pláza by Officers from the Crime Prevention Department of the Police Station of Somogy County.
The European Commission published the Charter of Victims at 22 February 1990. Following the suggestion of the European Organization of Victim Protection in several countries – including Hungary – this day was pronounced to be the World Day of Victims of Crime.
Police officers together with partner organizations emphasised the subject of preventing to become a victim. Visitors came in large number and besides professional counselling they could get useful informative publications and watch crime preventive short films.
